We can’t always control what happens to us. But we can control how we choose to deal with it.
The truth is:
We are co-creators of our life.
What does that mean?
In every moment, we have a choice on how to perceive things.
In every moment, we have a choice on how to act and react.
In every moment, we can choose joy or suffering.
That doesn’t mean life will be perfect! There will be highs, there will be lows. But once you root yourself in the present moment and learn how to navigate your life journey, you’ll be a much happier person.
Remind yourself that you have the choice to only allow positive energies into your life. People around you can and will do as they wish. They can say or do hurtful things. And that’s ok. That’s their path, that’s their karma.
Just detach and focus on your path and what you want to manifest.
In other words:
Others can dish it out, but you don’t need to take it on!
Try to focus on the positive. Here are a few tips on how to do that:
-meditate every day
-sit in silence for part of your day, every day
-observe your thoughts and realize they are NOT you
-observe your emotions and realize they are temporal
-don’t take on what belongs to others
-stay rooted in the present moment
I know it’s not always easy. We all have our dark days. Honour your journey, with whatever comes your way. But be gentle with yourself. And remain aware. Don’t let negativity dictate how you act and react. Just let it all go…
It’s a constant effort. You need to pledge your commitment to joy in every moment. You need to always remain aligned with it. You need to remain active, and make decisions that keep you aligned with joy.
Remember that you DO have control over your thoughts.
So go ahead and CHOOSE JOY!
